The Tigers Rugby Football Club conquered Regis Jesuit tonight to claim the Colorado Catholic HS Championship trophy. In the eighth attempt Regis ran into an aggressive Tigers Rugby club with something to prove. Regis offered no quit in the waning minutes, but Tigers held the line and took home the “Bishop’s Cup”.
Final score: Tigers Rugby 31 – Regis Jesuit HS 24.

Tries were scored early and often for the Tigers, including those by winger Jake Boselli , Holy Family; Peter Loving, Ralston Valley (8-man), Walker Prieb, Holy Family (flanker), Warren Wood, Pomona (center) and Nick Allen, Pomona (fly half). 3 of 5 conversions were successful for Alec Walters, Holy Family (9).
