Tigers Rugby coaches HS aged boys in Rugby Colorado, one of the finest State Based Organization, and a Men’s side (Tigers Rugby Alumni), which competes in the Easteren Rockies Rugby Football Union’s Division III.
Tigers Rugby HS side practices at Broomfield County Commons Park on Tuesdays, Thursday (3:15 pm to 5:00 pm) and Saturdays (10:00 am to noon) in December, January and February.
Tigers Rugby Football Club was founded by Coaches Brad Baier and Paul O’Brian after winning the 2002 State Championship with the Holy Family High School Football Team in Broomfield, Colorado. The Tigers have won 2 division championships, a fourth place finish in the 2011 State Championship tournament, two Division I Quarterfinal appearances, a second place finish in the 2007 Plate Championship match, a second and third place finish at the Rocky Mountain Classic tournaments. Tigers Rugby’s HS side competes in the elite Division I of Rugby Colorado. Tigers RFC was presented the 2005, 2006 and 2011 Team Sportsmanship awards, the 2004 and 2011 Player of the Year, and the 2005 and 2011 Coach of the Year awards by fellow Rugby Colorado coaches. Tigers look to advance beyond two consecutive Quarterfinal finishes in the Colorado State Rugby Championship tournaments.
Beginning our ninth season, we are proud to offer affordable fitness training and fun with the game of rugby football. We start HS boys practice on December 1st, 2011 at Broomfield County Commons Park.
